Easter Teenage Residential Pony Camp
Donegal Equestiran Holidays are now taking bookings for our Teenage Pony Camps.
Dates: March 29th – April 2nd, April 5th – 9th
Age: 12-18 yr olds
Price: €395
Our all inclusive packages include:
•Accommodation
•24 hour supervision
•Three meals a day and snacks
•30 hours of Riding and Stable Management
•Laundry facilities
•Evening activities including water sports, bowling, cinema, team building, and Irish sports
•Collection and transfer from local bus.
Level: From beginners to advanced.
Arrivals: 10 am Monday
Departure: 5 pm Friday
The Riding School:
Our AIRE and BHS approved Equestrian facilities include:
- An indoor and outdoor arena
- 25 jump cross country course
- 10km beach and 100sq acres of sand dunes on our doorstep
- 50 horses and ponies to suit all levels
- Fully qualified and friendly staff
The camps run from 10 – 5.00 pm daily. The activities include fun and games, beach rides on our 10km stretch of beach, treks through our rolling sand dunes, lessons, trail rides, lunging, video analysis, flatwork, jumping cross country for the novice upwards(weather dependant) and stable management.
Residential Accommodation: Our residential accommodation is situated in a quiet suburb just one minute’s walk from the Atlantic coast and eight minutes from the town centre. We can comfortably sleep up to 36 and our facilities include all ensuite rooms, free Internet, comfortable sitting room and games room. There is one coordinator per 10 students.
Evening Activities: Our evening activities include water sports, bowling, cinema, DVD's, treasure hunts etc.
Package: Monday to Friday includes accommodation, full board, 30 hours of riding and stable management, 4 evening activities per week and local collection. €395
A day at the camp:
8.00-8.30 am Breakfast
9.15 – 1.00 pm Riding
1 – 2.00 pm Lunch
2.15 – 5.00 pm Riding
5.15 pm Snack
7.00 pm Dinner
8.00 pm Evening activity
10.30 pm Bed time.
We promise a fun, relaxed and secure environment to practice your chosen sport.
